The following information explains the Anaheim Community Foundation’s (ACF) policy regarding any information you may supply to us when visiting http://www.anaheimcommfound.org/ that are part of the ACF’s official web site and any information that may be provided to the public by the ACF’s official site.

Collection of Information:

On certain occasions, the public has opportunities to share personal information online with the ACF in order to facilitate better correspondence and donations. This information includes but is not limited to person’s names, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers.  The ACF’s policy is not to disclose this information to any other party or person not affiliated with the ACF without your approval, unless required to do so under federal or state law.

Use of Information:

  • The ACF’s goal in collecting personal information online is to provide you, with the most personalized and effective inquiry response possible.  The ACF will maintain the confidentiality of information it receives online to the same extent it is legally able to do so with respect to information obtained through other means.
  • Communications made through e-mail and messaging systems shall in no way be deemed to constitute legal notice to the ACF or any of its officers, employees, agents or representatives, with respect to any existing or potential claim or cause of action against the ACF or any of its officers, employees, agents, or representatives, where notice to the ACF is required by any federal, state or local laws, rules or regulations.
  • One of the ACF services online is to provide information about Anaheim and its community programs; therefore, children are not restricted from visiting the ACF site. The ACF urges children only to give the ACF any information after getting permission from their parents or guardians.
